MNS Langkawi office LaunchWe are please to report Langkawi charted a big milestone on 9th March 2009 as 42 members sign up as pioneers of Malaysian Nature Society’s new pro tem committee that will lead to the formation of a branch.

Our chief Irshad Mobarak  who has been one of the leading voices for the conservation and sustainable Langkawi’s natural heritage was voted as Chairman. The office at Fangipani Resort was launched on the  21st April 2009.To date we have 49 members sign in and we expect more to join us.  Langkawi can now address its own issue  more effectively as a branch.
