Sri Indria Sari, the girl among boys, left her big-city life and led a way of life she always dreams of - the tranquility of the countryside. Her love affair with Langkawi sparked from a sunset poster of Tanjung Rhu she saw everyday at work, Sri was determined to find her way to Langkawi.

With luck on her side and an undeterred great positive vibe, she finally landed a job on Langkawi and has called Langkawi home for the last 12 years.

Sri joins the Junglewalla team with a passion for birding and she knows the locale of Langkawi birds intimately. Her commitment to protecting wildlife is a rare-found quality - she lost sleep over the fate of a lonely female hornbill whose male has been missing and suspected a victim of hunting.

A strong advocate for nature, Sri has joined birdwatching course with the Malaysian Nature Society and has enjoyed birding at many Malaysia favourite birding sites. Funny yet serious about birds and wildlife conservation, she is one of our most valued member and currently running Junglewalla's day-today operation at the office in Jalan Datai.
