He came to Langkawi 9 years ago to work for a hotel in Langkawi and conduct cultural tour for their guests. During his stay on Langkawi he came to know a well-known snake handler in langkawi and join him to be trained as a skilled snake handler and monkey trainer, he then develop a deep knowledge of local reptiles and monkeys.

With his tutor and later became his father in law, he sets up the now Langkawi Snake Sanctuary and trained some monkeys for shows in Anna & The King palace. Othman skills as a snake handler have caught the attentions of national Geography Magazine and he was featured as a snake handler on Nov 2001 editions. Othman others skills is his knowledge of Malay martial arts and dances. He used to conduct martial arts and Malay dance class every night at Tok Senik Village.

Othman has joined Junglewalla on March 2005. He now conducts regular interpretive morning and evening walk at The Andaman Langkawi and promotes conservation of nature and heritage on the island. Othman also conducts Langkawi Livestyle Tour, his tour is very informative, interesting and a whole new unique experience for its participants. With his insight knowledge of Malaysian cultural, excellent command of English and his politeness that unmistakably Malaysian, there could be no better ambassador to show you Langkawi Lifestyle but Othman.
