Meet The Team
Ku Ismadi or affectionately called Madi is born 26 years ago as a village boy and roaming the rainforest with slingshot in the hand gave him the opportunity to observed wildlife especially Large Green-pigeon and other wildlife delicacy up close and personal.
With education from boarding school in Kuala Lumpur and finish the study in civil engineering after spending a good 13 year outside Langkawi. He felt the urge to come back to Langkawi and settle down here.
He landed his first job at Wilderness Malaysia where he gets 3 years experience educating Malaysian youngster and gave him the basic experience with nature education and awareness. Spending 5 days a week in wilderness making him realize that he does belong to nature and education is the way to protect Langkawi.
Madi now conducts regular interpretive Langkawi Geopark Tour, he is also team leader in The Junglewallah of Langkawi Program sponsored by DIGI Malaysia where Irshad and his team educate 100 Langkawi students from various schools in Langkawi for 6 months about Langkawi's Nature and its protections.
