This excursion is the most highly recommended trip while you are in Langkawi. Join our Mangrove Cruise and allow our passionate guide to give you a great insight into its ecology and show its importance to humanity.
The Forgotten Forest between Land and Sea
A short drive to the jetty where we get on board a boat and explore the mangroves forest and the ancient limestone outcrops of the north east.
Mangrove forest plays an essential part in maintaining the ecological balance of the world. They influence the climate, provide shelter and act as major nurseries for fish and shrimps. Our journey takes us on a voyage of exploration to discover exotic plants and animal species many of them surviving by ingenious methods in a dynamic environment of constant change dictated by the rise and fall on the tides.
We may have opportunities to observe the bizarre land walking fishes, kingfishers, eagles, kites and if we are very lucky dolphins and otters too.

TOUR REVIEW

The nature is original and beautiful. Great landscape and wildlife. But our tour guide (Hadi) made it lively and interesting with his vast knowledge of the park and high devotion to the preservation of the nature. Truly an amazing experience in the swamp... -
Absolutely agree with you regarding unhealthy ways of feeding the animals. -
This must be one of the most interesting cruise that we ever went on... Thanks to your superb guide, Madi whose wealth of knowledge and passion for the wildlife and mangroves in the langkawi geopark astounds and humbles us all.
We will definitely come back to Langkawi because we had fallen in love with the place!! :) -
It was a very nice tour. Madi our guide told us some interessting things about nature in the Mangroves. We visited the batcave. You must be in luck to see many animals during daytime. We saw some eagles, monkeys and several birds. The tour on the sea with view on Thailand was very nice also! We picked the tour with Walhalla because we agree with their views on feeding the animals and it is also nice that they show you the other side of the mangrove (the other boats al go in the other direction). Certainly a tour to recommend! Thanks!
